Neuromuscular Therapy & Myofascial Release
Spiral Techniques is a specialized system of neuromuscular therapy and myofascial release that benefits everyone—the well-functioning as well as the injured—and works simultaneously on the physical, emotional and energetic levels of the mind/body constellation.
Formulated by Arthur Jaffe, the technique was developed over a period of several decades through careful study and integration of the world’s most powerful hands-on healing traditions, both Eastern and Western. Spiral Techniques is a system that is more penetrating and profound than massage and more whole-self integrative than chiropractic.
The exquisite myofascial, deep tissue release aspects of this work have been especially effective in mitigating and eliminating a wide range of painful, limiting conditions related to muscle/nerve interaction and soft tissue dysfunctions, whether acute or chronic, in young and old alike.

In our center on Broadway off Fifth Avenue at 21st Street, located in New York, NY, we incorporate the most profoundly effective healing elements of neuromuscular therapy, pain management, deep tissue massage therapy, myofascial release, active release techniques, Asian and Maori bodywork, and especially Yogic Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT) and Biosync.
People come to us, not only from the NYC area, but from all over the world to achieve freedom from acute and chronic pain and mobility issues. Common issues our visitors face come in the form of chronic pain in the neck and back area, TMJ, tendonitis, shoulder, knee, and other joint pains. Depending on the needs and desires of our clients, treatments may also include instruction in stretches, exercises, and breathwork, aimed at releasing stress, reducing anxiety, relieving stored trauma, and leading towards balancing the autonomic nervous system. It can be an addition or an alternative to chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, energy work, psychotherapy and other types of therapy as well.
Explore our website and please read the testimonials from some well known and highly regarded clients, from NBA players to physicians to royalty, bricklayers to buddhist nuns, who have been delighted with the results of their nerve/muscle (neuromuscular) therapy.
